I have always been a fan of coconut macaroons. But tbh, the thought of making it at home never crossed my mind until recently. I felt so stupid when I realized how easy it is to bake it at home; I could have saved some bucks too 😉 (I always kinda felt like they are expensive ).
ABOUT THE COCONUT MACAROONS RECIPE: This recipe doesn’t need much effort and time like the normal macaroon and it is a NO-FAIL recipe too. The only thing you need to make sure is not to over-bake it. Take it off from the oven as soon as the top part of the coconut macaroon turns golden.
These Coconut Macaroons are naturally Gluten-Free


Beat the egg whites using a hand whisk until soft peak is formed.
Add vanilla essence and sugar gradually and whisk again.
Mix the desiccated coconut to the mixture using a spatula.
Scoop this mixture equally to a lined baking tray.
Bake this at 170C for 15 minutes or until it turns golden brown. Once its done, let it cool down on wire rack.
Melt the chocolate in a bowl and dip the bottom of cookies in the chocolate.
Refrigerate the cookies upside down for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has set.
