My other half have recently resumed his health consciousness. And is constantly searching for any low carb recipe he could alternate with his usual meals with. So he found this low carb almond flour bread recipe by Fat for weight loss and insisted I should make it. Initially I thought the bread isn’t going to raise because first, there isn’t any yeast listed in recipe. And second it’s just almond flour and eggs mainly. But I was wrong!! The bread turned out soo spongy, almost like a cake!

P.S – Serve this Low carb with tea or coffee ❤️

About The Low Carb Almond Flour Bread Recipe

In this recipe, I have separated the egg whites and egg yolks and whisked them separately to create more air bubbles so the bread would rise good. if you are a busy bee and want to make it quick, Ignore this step and whisk the whole eggs together. You will get a less fluffier bread but the taste won’t make any difference .

If you don’t have Psyllium Husk, replace it with 1/2 teaspoon of Xanthan Gum .

This bread is served best with Peanut butter and both are Keto friendly.

A spongy easy-to-make low carb bread recipe ready in an hour

Ingredients
 7 Eggs, Large
 100 g Butter (1/2 cup), melted
 30 g Coconut oil (2 tbsp)
 200 g Almond flour (2 cups)
 1 tsp Baking Powder
 1 tsp Psyllium Husks (Isabgol)
 ½ tsp Salt

To make Almond flour bread

Preheat the oven at 180C

Separate the egg whites and yolks.

In a bowl, whisk the egg whites until a peak is formed.

In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks, Melted butter, and coconut oil until well combined.

Add psyllium Husks, almond flour, salt and baking powder to the same bowl and whisk again until it turns into a thick mixture.

Combine the egg yolk mixture and egg whites together and beat until both are thoroughly mixed.

Transfer the batter into a greased/lined loaf pan (8"x7") and bake for 45 minutes.

Once cooled, Slice it and store in a air-tightened container.
