Here is an easy recipe of homemade custard using fresh eggs and milk. This recipe takes only few minutes to make and tastes soo delicious than the store bought one.

You can add a splash of yellow colour to make it more colourful

INGREDIENTS
 285 ml Double Cream/ Heavy Cream
 700 ml Milk
 4 Egg yolks
 3 tbsp Cornflour
 1 tsp Vanilla essence
 100 g Sugar

METHOD
1

Heat the milk and cream in a saucepan. Remove from the heat as soon as it starts boiling.

In a mixing bowl, combine the egg yolks, cornflour, sugar and vanilla essence together .

Gradually add this sugar mixture to the milk-cream mixture while stirring continuously .

Transfer this to the stove top and heat it on medium flame by whisking constantly until the custard become thick. Make sure no lumps are formed.

Serve hot or cold.
