Here is an easy recipe for homemade custard using fresh eggs and milk. This recipe takes only a few minutes to make and tastes soo delicious than the store bought one.
You can add a splash of yellow colour to make it more colourful
Heat the milk and cream in a saucepan. Remove from the heat as soon as it starts boiling.
In a mixing bowl, combine the egg yolks, cornflour, sugar and vanilla essence together .
Gradually add this sugar mixture to the milk-cream mixture while stirring continuously .
Transfer this to the stove top and heat it on medium flame by whisking constantly until the custard become thick. Make sure no lumps are formed.
Serve hot or cold.
